Progress Monitoring: Study Group Content Module
The Research Institute on Progress Monitoring (RIPM) has developed Progress Monitoring: Study Group Content Module [pdf], which is designed to provide an introduction to implementing student progress monitoring in reading using curriculum-based measurement (CBM). In addition to providing a background for using research-based CBM, this resource offers step-by-step instructions for using CBM to screen, monitor, score, and use data to assist in decision making. This comprehensive introductory resource supplies the how, when, where, and why for administering CBM in reading.
For more information on how to implement CBM in reading, including information on how often to monitor the progress of all students, please view our Center’s training materials on Curriculum-Based Measurement in Reading.
