Yearly ProgressPro™ is a computer administered progress monitoring tool based on Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM) for students in grades 1-8. The tool provides information on student performance in English. The test was normed using a nationally representative sample of 12,000 students that includes 5 percent of students with disabilities, primarily with learning disability. Reading: The assessment task is a maze, where the seventh words of passages are deleted; each is replaced with 3 possible words, only one of which restores meaning. Math: Students take a weekly 15-minute CBM test on the computer, which is automatically graded by the computer. |
Reading: It takes 2.5 minutes to administer for individual students. 23 alternate forms available at grade 1 and 33 forms at each of the other grade levels (i.e., grade 2-8). Raw scores are number correct replacement, number of errors, number attempted, percentage correct, and score corrected for guessing. Percentage correct and score corrected for guessing (i.e., number correct – [number incorrect/2]) are also available. Math: It takes 15 minutes to administer for individual or group of students. 13 alternate forms per grade level are available. Raw scores and composite scores are available. Raw scores are number correct; composite scores are total raw scores within a construct. Subscale/subtest scores and error analysis are also available. |
