AIMSweb systems provide assessment tools (CBM) and data organization and management software to frequently monitor progress of all students in grade K and above in the basic skills areas.

AIMSweb Math-CBM is designed for Benchmarking all students for universal screening and more frequent progress monitoring for those with severe basic skill performance discrepancies, and writing evidence-based IEP goals for students who receive special education. To ensure effective interventions in IEPs, weekly monitoring in required.

It takes 2-4 minutes to administer each test; and each measure can be administered frequently, up to 2 times per week.

AIMSweb Math-CBM can be used for benchmarking grades 1-8 and progress monitoring any age.

Raw score, percentile score, and developmental benchmark scores are available.

Adequate growth rate can be derived in two ways:

  • Rates of Improvement (ROI) are calculated using composite normative sample of AIMSweb customers,
  • And AIMSweb users will be able to identify their own norm-referenced rates progress.

50 alternate forms are available for each grade 1-8.
