Reading CBM: 1 minute standardized measure of oral reading of graded passages to administer for individual students.

Maze CBM: 3 minute standardized measure requiring silent reading of graded passages and selecting 1 of 3 words that preserve meaning for deleted words.

Early Literacy:

• CBM Letter Naming Fluency: Individual students say names of visually presented upper and lower case randomly presented letters for 1 minute.

• CBM Phoneme Segmentation Fluency: Individual students say phonemes in orally presented words for 1 minute.
• CBM Nonsense Word Fluency: Individual students read non-real words for 1 minute.

AIMSweb TEL can be used for benchmarking grades K-1 and progress monitoring any age.

Spelling CBM: Students write orally dictated words at fixed pace for 2 minutes from a graded word list.

AIMSweb Spelling-CBM can be used for benchmarking grades 1-8 and progress monitoring any age.

Raw score, percentile score, and developmental benchmark scores are available.

Adequate growth rate can be derived in two ways:

• Rates of Improvement (ROI) are calculated using composite normative sample of AIMSweb customers,

• And AIMSweb users will be able to identify their own norm-referenced rates progress.
